Then reprint the new origin with the first 9 issues. Not the same thing clearly since it's not Kirby but it is a compromise.Because my guess is that nobody would like that either. The people who want to read those Kirby stories want to read those stories, and all of them.
I’d be happy with a collection of #1-9, just to express a vote.
If they can’t print ‘em all, I’d take what I can get. And if they ever could print ‘em all, I’d buy that, too.
My only resistance with be that if it’s a collection of MACHINE MAN without the 2001 stories, that feels like it should be a paperback. With the 2001 stories? Hardcover.
But no “new origin.” That’s just foo.
